A rite of passage for mothers and girls
How would you treat menstruation and your menstrual cycle if your mother celebrated this moment with you, treated it with joy and importance, accompanied you throughout menstruation and pre-menstrual days?
In some cultures, this moment was treated as a rite of passage from childhood to adulthood. There are cultures where this moment is still treated in a festive manner.
In the "White Wisdom" workshops that I conduct for women, we form and observe this connection, our relationship with the menstrual cycle. And the beginning of beginnings is our mothers' reference to their period and their reference to our first menstruation.
It is definitely time to change this automatic intergenerational transfer.
Let's change that now. For our daughters. For our granddaughters, for the next seven generations.
I invite you and your daughter to a rite of passage. One you deserved to have. One that your daughter deserves to have.
In the ceremony we will sit and talk about the gift of menstruation, we will learn about the female cycle and how to use it as a powerful tool, together we will make a powerful object that will accompany each of you during the days of your period. We will interweave prayer and intention and create a new, healthy and benevolent intergenerational transfer.
