Moon mandala

This mandala was created to help you track the connection between your inner rhythm and the rhythm of the Moon.

Through it, you will gain a clear and deep understanding of how your emotional, physical, and spiritual states are intertwined with the different phases of the Moon in the sky.

With this awareness, you can begin to align your life with this rhythm -living in harmony with the lunar forces and flowing with the greater wave of the universe and of yourself.

This practice also allows you to explore your own cycles and their profound influence on every aspect of your life. You will start to see your patterns more clearly -how they shift with the Moon and with your own inner cycle. Over time, you will notice that each lunar month (not calendar month) brings recurring themes and experiences at the same stages. As your awareness grows, you’ll be able to anticipate these patterns and free yourself from being unconsciously ruled by them.

So how do you work with the mandala?

1. Open and download the mandala (see button at the bottom of the page) and print it.
2. Start by writing the dates inside the mandala. Start on the day of the birth of the moon (this is the day when there is no moon in the sky and is indicated in the mandala as a drawing of a black moon). This is the first day of the moon cycle. Check what the date is in the upcoming new moon. Find it here. Write this date inside the mandala, next to the drawing of the black moon.
3. For the rest of the dates, until the next new moon, fill in a clockwise mandala next to each moon show. See an example at the bottom of the page.
4. Every day, starting from the birth of the new moon , fill in the mandala in the rectangle of the new moon event that day your emotional, physical, mental and spiritual state. It is important that you note if there was anything special:
Parameters for observation and registration:
Menstruation and ovulation
•    Physical energy level
•    Intuition

  • Dreaming

•    Nutrition and appetite
•    The quality of sleep
•    mood/joy
•    Passion
•    External communication
•    Internal communication
•    Emotional storms/inner peace
•    Mental clarity/fuzziness, concentration, how focused I am
•    Special events


All of this can be written down in key words within the days of the mandala or extended on the back of the page or in a white calendar (write down the date and day of the white cycle starting from the white birth of that month).


5. At the end of the monthly new moon cycle, print a new mandala and fill it again for the whole month (note - the whole month of whitening, not a calendar month!).

*Because the moon circle's rotation around the earth and the earth's rotation around the sun are not the same in length, sometimes a day will be missing in the mandala or there will be 1-2 extra days.

An example from a mandala:

In the example you can see that the drawing started next to the icon of the black moon - the new moon. There I wrote down the date 6.3, that's when the moon was born. I continued to write down the dates (only the day and not the month) clockwise. In addition, I circled which day it is in the moon cycle. The birth of the moon was marked in a circle with the number 1 inside it. The day after it was marked with the number 2 and so on.

Note that I mark my bleeding days by drawing a drop on the inside of the rectangle with the relevant date.
